1. Create your own sandbox boundary
Use an account you control, non-production endpoints and official sandbox test data. Keep keys outside source control.
2. Define the lifecycle you need
Write the expected state changes, redirects, asynchronous notifications and error paths before building the happy path.
3. Reproduce inputs locally
Use a PaymentKits local tool to examine test signatures, identifiers or fixture payloads. Then verify behaviour in the provider official sandbox.
